THE LIMITED EDITION COLLECTIONTwenty six titles have been selected to create a collection of signed limited edition prints, each with a certificate of authentity. Each print is produced using the process of 'Giclee', a French term meaning, in this case 'spray of ink'. A giclee print captures the true subtle textures, tones and minute detail of the original. To acheive this an original is drum scanned, creating a digital file. It is from this file that the technician and artist/client works, carefully matching colour, tone, saturation and texture until the desired result is acheived and a 'artist proof'' created. Once this 'proof' has been authorised by the artist/client the edition is produced using pigmented inks, archival papers or canvas that are guaranteed light fast for a minimum of 75 years. All plates, digital files are destroyed once the declared edition is completed. Mounted Editions are limited to 250 copies world-wide and presented in a conservation off white mount with 4ins top and side margins and 4.5ins bottom margins Canvas Editions are limited to 100 copies world-wide and presented on stretched 100% cotton canvas |
